Master Of Medical Equipment Engineering (Year 2021)

Knowledge of medical device design, from conception to implementation, will be taught. Engineering skills and competences needed to design a medical device or equipment and launch a medical engineering industry will be taught. Consideration for the effective operational environment and other factors, properties of material to be selected, other engineering and medical requirements expected of the materials to be considered in designing a medical device will be discussed. Engineering design as applicable to each sub-specialization of Medical Engineering field will be highlighted. The standards, quality and safety expected of a medical device, based on ethics and regulations, and clinical trials will be taught.
